Microbot Medical (Nasdaq: MBOT) named Christina Bailey as vice president of sales ahead of its Liberty endovascular surgical robotic system launch.
Bailey, a two-time U.S. Olympian in women’s hockey and 1998 Nagano gold medalist, brings 20 years of medical device sales experience with leadership roles at Boston Scientific, Abbott, Stryker, and Intuitive Surgical. She was most recently VP of U.S. sales at Endologix, where she built and scaled the sales team.
CEO Harel Gadot highlighted Bailey’s leadership as critical to strengthening commercial efforts and building a mission-driven sales team for Liberty’s anticipated U.S. launch. The system, which Microbot describes as the first fully disposable single-use endovascular robotic platform, is pending FDA 510(k) clearance.
This appointment follows recent hires including Michael Lytle as head of sales operations and analytics and Paul Mullen as vice president of sales.
