Globus Medical CEO Daniel Scavilla has stepped down to lead Dentsply Sirona, ending a decade-long tenure at Globus. Scavilla, who also joined the Dentsply Sirona board in February, will succeed Simon Campion as CEO on July 31.
Keith Pfeil, Globus EVP, COO, and CFO, has been named president and CEO effective July 18. Kyle Kline will take over as SVP and CFO.
Company founder David C. Paul praised Scavilla’s leadership and emphasized Pfeil’s strategic mindset and cultural fit. Pfeil joined Globus in 2019 and played a key role in scaling operations following the NuVasive merger.
Meanwhile, Globus reported preliminary Q2 2025 sales of $745.3M, up 18.4% YoY, ahead of expectations. U.S. Spine grew 7.4% YoY (day-adjusted), and Enabling Technology sales improved sequentially. FY25 guidance remains at $2.8B–$2.9B in sales, EPS $3.00–$3.30.
Despite the beat, BTIG analysts maintain a Neutral stance, citing persistent concerns over foundational weaknesses in the core Spine business. Shares of GMED dropped 2.4% in pre-market trading.
