Aspivix has partnered with AGHealth to launch Carevix, an MHRA-approved non-traumatic suction cervical stabiliser, in the United Kingdom. Carevix offers a modern alternative to traditional cervical tenacula, aiming to reduce pain and bleeding during intrauterine procedures like coil-fitting and endometrial biopsies.
The device was first adopted at Peterborough City Hospital through the Carevix Ambassador Program, which included 21 centres across nine countries. Results showed 96% clinician ease-of-use and 94% patient satisfaction. The ADVANCE Women Study demonstrated a 73% reduction in pain and 78% less bleeding during IUD placement versus standard tenacula.
