July 1, 2025 — Saluda Medical announced the appointment of Barry Regan as its new president and CEO, effective July 14. Regan succeeds Jim Schuermann and brings 30 years of medical device and pharmaceutical industry experience.
Previously, Regan served as EVP, Global Operations at Dexcom, where he led capital investment for scaling continuous glucose monitoring manufacturing. He also held senior roles at Wright Medical, Smith+Nephew, AbbVie, and Abbott.
Saluda’s chairman, Doug Godshall, highlighted Regan’s leadership as vital for advancing the company’s dose-controlled, closed-loop neuromodulation platform. Minneapolis-based Saluda develops the Evoke spinal cord stimulation system for chronic pain and recently raised $100 million to support growth.
“I look forward to working with the team to establish Saluda as a new standard of care in neuromodulation,” said Regan.
