Former Children’s National innovation chief to spearhead pediatric-focused R&D

Compremium has appointed Dr. Kolaleh Eskandanian to its executive leadership team to lead a new division focused on innovation and pediatric populations. Based in Bern, the company develops diagnostic technologies integrating ultrasound and pressure sensing for conditions like venous and intracranial pressure.

Eskandanian previously served as Chief Innovation Officer at Children’s National Hospital and directed the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation. She was also the founding executive of Innovation Ventures, a commercialization engine that helped launch multiple medtech solutions and expanded the hospital’s IP portfolio to over 160 patents.

In her new role, she will:
