Phantom Neuro has secured $19 million in Series A funding to advance its Phantom X neural interface platform. The round was led by prosthetics giant Ottobock, bringing Phantom’s total funding to $28 million.
Phantom X is a minimally invasive interface implanted under the skin to enable intuitive control of prosthetics and robotics. A recent study showed 94% accuracy across 11 hand and wrist gestures. The company received FDA Breakthrough Device designation last month.
The funding will support first-in-human trials, regulatory progress, and expansion into broader assistive applications.
