First CGM partnership enhances insulin delivery precision
Sequel Med Tech announced its first CGM integration, partnering with Abbott’s FreeStyle Libre 3 Plus for its Twiist automated insulin delivery (AID) system.
The Twiist system, FDA-cleared last year, is powered by Tidepool Loop and uniquely measures the volume and flow of insulin in each microdose using sound waves. This ensures precise, personalized dosing for each patient.
This integration marks a key milestone in advancing closed-loop insulin delivery, combining real-time glucose monitoring with accurate insulin tracking. The launch of the integrated solution is expected later this year.
